Baby Girl Album

I was suppose to be working on my calling cards for Mania but didn't like how they were turning out. So, I chose to make a baby girl album for one of the waitresses at a restaurant that we frequent.  She is this tiny, little petite cutie, that is due in September.  She is so small that I thought she was just beginning to show.  She told me that she was having a girl but hadn't decided on colors or a theme yet.  I chose to go with pink and teal with a little purple, light blue, light green, and yellow thrown in.  I made the album using chipboard and cardstock by loosely following the directions from plans I had purchased.  I never seem to be able to follow directions exactly when it comes to crafting.  Anyway, the following pictures are the completed album.  Sorry but the ribbons were throwing shadows on some of the pics.  I hope you like and thanks for dropping by.

This is the front of the album.  I used a Scrap Factory doll I created, a Cricut cut, and some bling.

Inside the front cover is a photo mat and an insert to hold another photo.  I used the Cricut Nursery Rhyme font for my letters and another Scrap Factory doll I created.  The flower is felt and I used a Stamps of Life die to create it.  A little bling was added for the stem.

The stork and tags are Cricut cuts and used my Explore to write on the tags using the Nursery Rhyme font.  I added a little bling also.

This page was a combination of different cuts from Cricut.  I welded several diapers together to make the belly band.  I then attached them to some vellum and added safety pins on both sides.  The shoes were separate and I added some felt die cut flowers to them. The onesie was separate also.  The baby and safety pin were one.  I made the tags using paper, cardstock, and chipboard adhered together then cut on the Explore.

This page has a waterfall feature, some bling, and an svg cut I purchased.

The stamp is from Stamps of Life.

This page is adorned with front pocket photo mat.  As you can see in the pic above, it opens up to hold more pictures.  The owl, bee hive, bee, flowers, and grass were an svg that I purchased.

"Little One" is a Cricut cut and the flowers and grass are from the same svg as the previous page.  Just a little larger.  This page opens up to reveal even more places for pictures and journaling.

Inside of the previous pic.  I used a little lace.  Sweet dreams/moon was a welded cut from Cricut and I stickled to make them pop.  The little girl is a Scrap Factory doll I created.  I used black floss for the whiskers on her little bunny slippers.

I love writing/coloring on vellum.  I used my Explore to draw in the words and items then used Stampin Up water color crayons to fill them in.  I added a little ribbon to the bottom and inserted a couple of tags.  Each tag has a larger cut of a baby item on them.

The little bear is an svg that I purchased.  Besides the photo mat on the front, this one opens up to hold a couple more pictures on the inside and then the tabs can be pulled and there are two more photo holders.

Photo mat page with a freebie svg on top of a Cricut cut pond.  I also used Cricut to cut the cattails.

I didn't take a picture of this one open because I didn't want to mess up the bow but it is an accordion photo mat.  The flamingo was a freebie svg cut.  I added the palm trees from a Cricut cut.

This photo mat/pocket holder is sporting another Scrap Factory doll I created.

Subway art from Cricut.  I used the writing feature instead of cutting.  I really like how it turned out.  I welded two swirls together from Cricut and added some pearls to finish the page.  This one opens up to reveal . . .
a photo mat, tags, lace, ribbon, and bling.

Recognize Luiz?  I followed a blog hop and received the svg for free.  The paw prints are from Cricut.  This page holds a photo mat.

The back of the album is another photo mat/pocket holder.  I used a bear svg and the balloons and side tag were stamps/die cuts from the Stamps of Life.  I added a little twine to make it look like the bear was holding the balloons.
Photo mat open.
